Egypt Project Reflections
I think that that the most helpful in-class activities for our Daily life play and Pharaoh iBook by watching the videos about Egypt and the notes, it gave me lots of knowledge about what they spent there time doing in Ancient Egypt. Although I would have liked to learn more about the temples and pyramids, and I would have liked to learn about the daily life of a pharaoh. While we were making our project my group worked well together, we got lots of facts and information on the ancient Egyptians, I think that OR was a really hard worker and did lots of writing. I think ZK and ZW got lots of good info and helped with edits on the script. I think that everybody pulled their weight and did their fare share, it was really fun working in this group during this project and past projects. I would of not re-done the project because we went over our script a lot and because I am the editor and I saw both videos I think that we should stick with our final movie and I saw a little bit of improvement between videos. I think that if we had the chose to re-do our project, I wouldn't. I think our project was successful because we explained the daily life in ancient Egypt (witch was required) and we had lots of good info on what they did back then.

Group Dynamics
In my group I am a leader and am usually the first to speak. I talk a lot but when other people try to talk I listen to them and try not to interrupt. I usually take leadership but sometime Olivia does to. I don't usually sit back and wait for things to happen but sometime I can be quiet. I take role in a group because I like the feeling that you do not have to do all the work and you have other people to help write or revise what you have done. I do like working in groups and other times I like to work alone, it usually depends on the type of project. If it is a five paragraph essay then I would like it to be a group but if it is a research project then sometimes I like to be alone. I like to work with some friends of mine but really I only want to work with them if they are focused, attentive to the project, and help with the things that we have to do. Some pros about working with friends is that you aren't doing all the work and they are your friend and so it is a little bit fun. Some cons about working with friends is that sometimes you can get off track and not be focused. When there are problems in the group I try to have everybody say their idea and then try to make something that can cover all of the ideas. This sometimes work and sometimes doesn't work but when it does everyone is happy and things are back to working order. Some things that I have tried to do in the past is talk over the other arguing people, but that usually makes it louder and really frustrating, so I have figured out that it does not work. When somebody dominates the group and I don't feel listened to I wait until they are done talking and then try to speak up, then if they still don't listen I try to talk to them and ask if I can be included in the conversation. The most difficult situation situation I have ever been in was when I was in 5th grade and I had not finished a project that was due in a short time, so I got really stressed.

If I was Holling I would be pretty upset, I mean who makes a classmate by 40 dollars worth of something, they have more anyways. Plus he earned it so back off.
One solution is to say that you earned it and tell them that you don't have to buy them cream puffs. Pros: Don't have to buy cream puffs! Cons: May come home with a black eye.
Another is that you could just never buy them cream puffs and on the last day of school stick next to a teacher so that they don't try to beat you up. Pros: Don't have to buy cream puff and don't get beat up. Cons: you have to sit next to a teacher all day so you have to be on your best behavior and can't play at recess.
These are some of the things you could do to deal with the situation.
